Macau

Day 59 (16.3.2013) Macau

Yesterday I arrived Hong Kong and thought it's a good idea to leave the big city for a day to discover Macau.
Macau feels to me like a mixture of Las Vegas, Dubai, Barcelona & Bangkok - the latter coz I haven't been to Portugal or China to compare ... Macau has the shiny casinos and lots of lights of Vegas, Dubai's big-mentality and lots of bling-bling, glamorous malls, the Portuguese heritage being present all over town and last but not least the Asian impact on every corner. It has been a long day but a great one. Macau is easy to reach via a 1-1.5 hrs ferry ride from downtown Hong Kong.
