Day 31 (16.2.2013): Punakaiki to NelsonAll along the first hour of drive we had those amazing views of the rugged coast line.
We drove up to a point where you can see a seal colony - and found this little fellow, a weka:

Accidentally we stumbled upon a true kiwi experience, an agricultural fair in Murchison including a sheep-shearing competition.
