Day 30 (15.2.2013): Punakaiki
After a night at a beautiful hostel that felt like a friends cabin (and had "Matratzenlager" as the dorm room) we decided to stay a second night in Punakaiki (which is actually the Maori word for pancake) in the other hostel there which had an awesome beach location :)
We went on a recommended round-trip:
First Pancake Rocks
Pancake Rocks from the far
interesting rock formations @ Pancake Rocks
Blowholes and Rainbow @ Pancake Rocks
Then Along the Inland Track to a suspension bridge
jungle/ rain forest @ Inland Track
Last but not least along the beautiful Pororari river back to the coast

The day ended with a fantastic sunset
