We made our way first up to the most northern part of the south island. the last bit is called "Farewell Spit" but you need to go on a tour to access it. We decided on a nice walk through some awesome lush green rolling hills and farmland, across some sand dunes to the beach close to Farewell Spit. There are some rock formations in the water and on one of those you can watch seal puppies up close at low tide.

Later we drove a bit south to have a look at the world's clearest water at PuPu Springs. This is crystal clear water, deep blue once again.

Last but not least, Lin & I did some fun shots in the gardens of our hostel on our last evening together. Tomorrow our ways will part again...
