Invitations, Invitations
Dear all,
I’m currently a bit in the end-of-term-assignments-and-soon-final-exams stress. That’s why you haven’t heard from me in a while…
Last weekend I had quite some invitations going. First, on Friday, Robinette & Bob invited me over for dinner to meet their second daughter Tara and cute grandsons Thomas and Jack. It was a wonderful evening with a lovely BBQ.
Then, on Saturday, I went to the Queen Victoria Market which is fantastic – I still regret that I didn’t get this apartment right outside the market. I bought all this fantastic, fresh food including a travelli filet (this is a truly Australian fish). I found that it was too big for one person and invited Fay to join me for dinner. Last Saturday was actually a really nice evening and we were able to set in my backyard. This has not happened since again because
And, last but not least, on Sunday, Carol invited me to join in her 30th birthday party at a cocktail bar called “Madam Brussels” right downtown, in
That’s all about my last weekend … the next – which I know starts tomorrow – will be a working one … we finished the marketing syndicate assignment today but we have another 3 syndicate assignments to work on until Wednesday. Nevertheless, I will go tonight for a Sri Lankan dinner tonight with some of my colleagues. I need a rest …
So long
B.

Only 10°C in Australia - more than 10°C (sometimes actually nearly 20°C) in Austria. In Vienna we have one of the warmest November since ???
Today I read something quite interesting in the newspapers: in Australia it is forbidden to sing "Happy Birthday" due to Copyright reasons. Funny, isn't it?
Dear Birgit,
Now finally I could motivate myself to write.
The pictures of your new australian friends are very funny, especially their outfit at halloween.
In Vienna and Graz are now some Christmas trees standing with plenty of decorations on the windows and doors.
Fortunately Dieter and I already did our Christmas shopping, cause already now, people are getting excited of not knowing what to give... Do you celebrate Advent?
Dear Birigt,
Have some news for you - Dieter and I are going to get married in December. But only a civil marriage in Graz with the family. The church wedding, with all our friends, will be in May next year...
Hope you're having a nice time... hear you soon :-)))
